Elizabeth Agnes was the second child of William Fry & Harriett Hudson christened May 27th, 1877 at St Mary’s, Hartfield, Sussex.
In 1881 Elizabeth was living with her parents, sister Emily & brother William at Frogs Hole Farm, Hartfield.
In 1891 Elizabeth was visiting her mother’s aunt Harriett Elliott (nee Hudson) & her family. Harriett Elliott was widowed at this time & working as a butcher in Hartfield St, Hartfield. Also living there was Harriett’s nephew Walter Hudson (28), an assistant butcher.
In 1901 Elizabeth was living with her mother, now married to Alfred Card, at Chuckhatch where Alfred was a grocer/shopkeeper. Elizabeth was now a grocer’s assistant. In November 1901 Elizabeth was bridesmaid for her sister Emily Mary at her marriage to James Greenfield.
Elizabeth became housekeeper for her brother William at Neaves Farm, Chuck
Hatch, Hartfield but sadly
died of meningitis on March 28th, 1902, at the age of 24 & was buried April 1st, 1902 at St Mary's, Hartfield.
